Our Primary QTS with PGCE course covers EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Primary trainees have a main placement in one key stage and will have the opportunity to experience a second key stage during their second placement. 

As a primary trainee you will receive subject training from expert colleagues throughout the year to prepare you for teaching the full range of primary subjects. 

You will based in school four days a week and attend training at The Buckingham Partnership , based at the Royal Latin School on Wednesday each week. 

We work with a range of local primary schools including large town schools and smaller village infant schools. 

Our PGCE programme is delivered by an expert team from Bath Spa University's School of Education. All training for the PGCE is delivered as part of your normal training sessions at the Royal Latin School. The PGCE is awarded by Bath Spa University.
